“ OMG the Brussels sprouts!!! Hands down the best I’ve ever had. The pork belly confit is mouth watering as well. We tried the tasting menu, and were pleasantly surprised with how much food we got! We were so full that we had to skip dessert, even though we were dying to try their flan. An incredible good deal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and inviting. Servers were accommodating and friendly. ”

The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming, making the entire experience warm and enjoyable. The atmosphere and décor were excellent, stylish, vibrant, and full of character. What stood out the most was the fast service. Unlike many places where even a burger takes 30–40 minutes, Cuchillo served us amazing, gourmet dishes in no time, all coming out of a small open kitchen run by just 4–5 chefs. Truly impressive! They’re doing a fantastic job, great food, great people, and a great vibe. They are literally a Hidden Gem! Highly recommend! ”

“ Cuchillo is up there in the Vancouver Mexican food scene. Not only the ingredients are high quality, but also prepared with passion. The dishes combines familiarity and creativity. Each bite hits your taste buds with umami along with variety of textures that is very satisfying. You can experience tenderness and crunchiness all together. They also do very tasty mezcal cocktails to tie it all together. Top notch service and organized team. ”

“ Hosted a team get together here for 10 people. The atmosphere was very cool and the food was outstanding. Service was friendly and very casual. Drinks were great, and the price was very reasonable. Visiting from Toronto I have to warn you that the neighborhood it’s in is veeeery sketchy. Uber there and you’ll be ok but it really doesn’t even feel safe walking on the street. Locals may say it’s “harmless” but common sense will tell you it is absolutely not! lol I’d go back though, so worth it. ”

“ The food here is amazing! Every single dish is a flavour bomb. Fresh ingredients and a variety of menu options and cocktails to choose from. Service is pretty quick and the prices are fair. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The corn had a bit too much sauce on it but it seems like that’s how it’s supposed to be. Nonetheless, a 5 star experience all around. ”

“ After a longish walk in the rain, we arrived, were warmly greeted, offerd a great table, and enjoyed really good food and drinks. I recommend the Pisco Kid, but all the drinks looked great. We ate brussel sprouts, steak tacos, cauliflower tacos, and more. One of the many reasons I love Vancouver. Highly recommend! ”
